Information of Visiting

There is only a steep, narrow (only one lane that is enough for one car), tortuous road from the foot of mountain to Nibbinda Forest Monastery. Therefore, we do not encourage anyone to drive to the monastery.

However, when there is an event, such as Kathina or the arrival of Pa Auk Tawya Sayadaw, transportation will be provided to pick up the visitor, usually from the car park in front of SMJK Sacred Heart. We will announce this before an event starts.
